The homeschool series

Homeschool Genealogy Workbooks for Kids, Ages 8–14

Operation Granny Files is a series of three homeschool genealogy workbooks for children ages 8–14 (grades 3–8). Kids learn family history research by working it like detectives: they interview relatives, hunt for family documents, draw a family tree, read census records, explore what DNA can and can't tell a family, and finish by writing a family story worth keeping. No genealogy experience is needed, for the child or the parent. Each workbook is a paperback on Amazon ($12.99) or a printable PDF ($9.99; all three for $24.99).
